Denotation & Connotation blog tasks: advert analysis

 























Create a new blogpost in your GCSE Media blog called 'Denotation and connotation'.

1) Write an analysis of the WaterAid advert above using denotation, connotation and analysis. What can you see? What are the deeper meanings in the advert? What does the advert communicate to the audience? How might an audience react after seeing the advert?   In this Water Aid advert you can their is a boy who looking at the camera. You can also see in the backround the boy is in a poor area. CONNOTATION :You can see the boy look distrought you can also see that water aid are tryna  show us that we should dononate and make us feel bad
which is why they would put a boy who looks sad so it can people hearts so they could donoate.

 


2) Now choose your own choice of advert from Google images. Save it to your documents, insert it into your blogpost and write an analysis using denotation and connotation, explaining what the advert is communicating to the audience.

In this advert you can see a boy who naked who's clearly taking a shower which you can see he's trying to 
you can clearly see they might wanna show that you should be clean like a baby and its asking have you used pears soap which might try make you laugh for the younger genration CONNOTATION: Denotation Their a sign which say Pears soap which is very big which gets your attention .It's in a dark colour at the backround which makes the letters bold which would catch your eye.
